The cityscape of Dresden is marked by the destruction in the Second World War - the aim of Sebastian Lang's work was not to let the history of Dresden end with the year 1945. For this purpose, the communication design student chose the technique of double exposure. The modern, functional buildings form the object of the first exposure, creating a grid to which the long shot of the historical view is aligned in the second exposure. With his photographs, Sebastian Lang consciously opposes the "everything used to be better" mentality and shows in artistic space how old and new complement each other.
