"Of Coming and Going - The Leipzig Ring" and "Well-Defined Zero Set".

Vom Kommen und Gehen - Here in Leipzig, on the Ring outside the doors of the hotel, the face of the world has been changed. Following the course of the ring, a photographic work is presented in the rooms of one floor, which opens the view to various small and large places in the area of the city ring. The pictures are not only an invitation to get to know this beautiful city - whether in the room or during a short walk - they are also an invitation to pause for a moment and watch the coming and going, the ring - however fast or slow it may be. Leipzig has retained its tradition as a book city to this day. In the series "Well-Defined Zero Set," Susann Dietrich reformulates the theme of the book. The book object as an interface between art and life. It is not the stringing together of letters, the written language, that creates the message, but the material and the experimental handling of it. A narrative is visualized - the narrative of the artist's sensual dialogue with the object book and its materiality.
