Our hotel in Sønderborg offers a choice of three different restaurants, one café and one bar, each one bearing the hallmarks of the prominent Danish celebrity chef Jesper Koch: regional, original and typically Nordic.

Alsik - World Kitchen

Alsik is placed on the ground floor, with floor-to-ceiling windows, that lets the guests enjoy the beautiful view of Alssund. When the weather allows, it will be possible to enjoy the meal out on the terrace. In Alsik you will be able to sit with your whole family and have a relaxed meal. The menu will offer a wide selection of comfort food, with inspiration from around the world. All freshly made and served with a smile. The Alsik restaurant is also where the hotel guests will enjoy the homemade breakfast buffet."

Freia Bar & Lounge

Welcome to Freia Bar & Lounge, with its warm, pleasant atmosphere. Sink back into one of our comfortable chairs or sofas with a refreshing drink and enjoy the pleasant atmosphere and views of Alssund. Let your eyes wander along the Sønderborg waterfront where modern architecture interacts beautifully with historic buildings from many different centuries. Enjoy a glass of wine from our extensive wine list, a cold beer, coffee specialties or explore our menu of drinks and cocktails.

Syttende

Syttende, the high-end gourmet restaurant, is placed on the 17th floor and has panoramic views over Als and Alssund. The renowned chef Jesper Koch, will be serving an innovative menu with passion, creativity and eye for the detail. All the ingredients come from local and regional producers, and alongside taste, sustainability is of the highest priority. Here you will be able to look out on the fields, and see where the carrots have grown.

Alsik Spa Café

Alsik Spa Cafè is located with stunning water views, beautifully connected to the Alsik Spa Pool areas. The café offers light organic salads, sandwiches and more, as well as cold and hot drinks, all geared to both children and adults.
