Over the past few months, guest feedback has been gathered at various points to better comprehend the needs and desires of our members. Consequently, we have devised program changes aimed at making H Rewards even more appealing to our members and providing additional benefits for you.

What are the most important changes that will be made to the loyalty program?

In the future, the program will feature 4 status levels (Star, Silver, Gold and Platinum). The Prestige and Diamond status levels will be discontinued. Consequently, there will be adjustments to the benefits associated with each status level. New benefits will also be added, such as a complimentary breakfast in the Gold status. Moreover, earning points has become even easier, with the introduction of additional reward points for bookings made through digital H Rewards channels such as our website hrewards.com or the H Rewards app.

Increase in room rate reductions from 6% to 8%

**Prestige: **

This status level will be discontinued as of 01.02.2024. Members holding the Prestige status on the 31.01.2024 will be upgraded to Gold level. For these members, the following changes will become effective in the new Gold level:

Increase in room rate reductions from 10% to 12%

More points when booking through our digital H Rewards channels such as our website hrewards.com or the H Rewards app (in total 32 points per Euro of revenue (Base points + Bonus points + Additional bonus points))

This status level will be discontinued as of 01.02.2024. Members holding the Diamond status on the 31.01.2024 will be shifted to Platinum level. For these members, the following changes will become effective in the new Platinum level:

What are bonus points for digital booking channels (app & web)?

Accepted Answer

If you make your qualifying bookings via our digital channels either on the hrewards.com website or via our H Rewards app, you will automatically receive the higher points credit applicable through these channels. After your stay, you can find the points credited to your account statement.

Question 6

How do I calculate the base points, bonus points and additional points via digital channels?

Accepted Answer

For every Euro spent, you will receive a minimum of 8 points. If you are in a higher status level, you will earn additional bonus points per Euro. Furthermore, booking your stay through our website hrewards.com or the H Rewards app will grant you additional bonus points per Euro. Example 1: You have Gold status and a turnover of 100 euros booked via the hrewards.com website. In this scenario, you will receive a total of 3,200 points (32x100).

Example 2: You are a Platinum member with a turnover of 100 euros and do not book via the hrewards.com website or the H Rewards app. In this constellation, you will earn 2,800 points (28x100).

Star: Base points: 8 Bonus points: 0 Additional bonus points for bookings via the H Rewards website or the H Rewards app: 0

Silver: Base points: 8 Bonus points: 8 Additional bonus points for bookings via the H Rewards website or the H Rewards app: 8

Gold: Base points: 8 Bonus points: 12 Additional bonus points for bookings via the H Rewards website or the H Rewards app: 12

Platinum: Base points: 8 Bonus points: 20 Additional bonus points for bookings via the H Rewards website or the H Rewards app: 12

How does the €10 or €25 voucher apply for Gold and Platinum levels?

If breakfast is not included in the booked hotel tariff, a Platinum member receives breakfast for up to two people free of charge for every night of the booked stay.
If breakfast is included in the booked hotel tariff or if breakfast is included in all tariffs at the hotel in question, a Platinum member receives one voucher for €25 once per stay for bar and restaurant services.
If breakfast is not included in the booked hotel tariff, a Gold member receives breakfast for one person free of charge for every night of the booked stay.
If breakfast is included in the booked hotel tariff or if breakfast is included in all tariffs at the hotel in question, a Gold member receives one voucher for €10 once per stay for bar and restaurant services.

Are there any changes to the points expiration rules?

No, for continued memberships the points remain valid for 24 months from the time of accumulation.

Yes, membership at H Rewards remains free of charge.

What happens to my Diamond Status?

Accepted Answer

If you are a Diamond member as of January 31st 2024, you will be become a Platinum member as of February 1st, 2024. Your status duration will be extended by a new status year on this date, providing you with a longer status period. Please note that we will cancel your membership if you object to the change. However, we encourage you to familiarize yourself with the new Platinum benefits, as overall, you should still benefit from the changes despite the new status.

What happens to my Prestige Status?

If you are a Prestige member as of January 31st 2024, you will receive the Gold Status as of February 1st 2024. Your status duration will be extended by a new status year on this date, providing you with a longer status period.

Question 12

What does the new status level mean for my status validity?

Accepted Answer

If you upgrade from Prestige to Gold or receive the Platinum Status as a Diamond member, a new status period of one year commences on February 1st 2024. The status validity remains unaffected for all members in other status levels.

Question 13

My stay begins at the end of January and ends in February; which program features (benefits and status points) apply?

Accepted Answer

Booking benefits (such as member room rate reductions) will be adjusted on February 1st 2024. Bookings made before February 1st 2024 will therefore still be subject to the old conditions, while bookings made after February 1st 2024 will be subject to the new conditions. Your member benefits at the hotel (e.g., complimentary breakfast, VIP treatment in the room) are based on the check-in date. Rewards points will be credited based on qualifying turnover on the final invoice issued on the departure day. This means that the day of departure is decisive for the calculation of points.
